Dennis,

I do this by having the rows in the table (in the DBgrid) with an autonumbered column. Using a variable equal to the value in this column I know which row is the current row.  I then just update the table using an EEP which refers to the value chosen from elsewhere for the particular row.  This may not be the best way of achieving your aim, but it does work. Please let me know if you require any more details.

Subject: [RBG7-L] - DBGrid

RB 7.1

I moved a processing screen from a scrolling region to dbgrid and it has really help smooth the feathers on some of our users. Slow hardware/networking can make good s/w look bad and vice versa.

I've lost the popup capability in the rows/cells where the user can pick a value. I now have a button outside the dbgrid where they can view a list and type in a value. Is there an easy way for them to copy/paste from the list into the desired cell/row?

TIA

Dennis
