You're right, it does.  And brake type is key to AHH.  But accepting
that the all-rounder theme prevails, user tire width is going to be in
the build not the frame. I suspect that what we're talking about may
not be that there is less variety over-all, but that people perceive
no (dedicated) go-fast option.

No engineering background here, I just like the visual display of
quantitative info weirdness.
