Dave: I need fat and soft tires for sand -- I live in the bosque near
the Rio Grand here in ABQ and the soil is exceptionally sandy; fine,
old river silt. And while 2" tires would work, they won't work nearly
as well as the 65 mm that the 60 mm BAs actually measure on my 45 mm
rims, run at no more than 15 front, 18 rear. I have ample clearance
for fenders as well -- mine are 60 mm PBs.

If I could get 65 mm tires and fenders with a little mud or snow
clearance on a Bombadil, I'd start saving my money. Anyone: is *that*
possible?
