A few years ago when I went back to clips 'n' straps for a couple of years,
I found that MKS GR-9s were the cat's pyjamas for riding in street shoes;
my street shoe of choice in summer is the boat shoe, and in colder weather,
the chukka boot ("safari boot"). (On my gofast, of course, I used very
cool, ancient Rivats with slotted cleats, and Kerin approved MKS track
pedals.
