Can't imagine why that would spin. I have two bikes with Shimano dynamos, no problems. Anyways, I'm questioning someting that was said earlier, about preferred locations for the connection. Is having the connector facing down better for waterproofing? Seems like the cap would then become something of a cup, with water wicking in the seam fairly easily. With a tight enough fit to the squishyish wires, wouldn't an upright connector be less likely to let it through? And farther out of harms way if you're doing any root hopping or bike rack parking as well. Being fairly new to making my own electricity I haven't had to do anything with either hub. Been charging through a lot of puddles lately so I suppose it's only a matter of time... Thanks -Kai Brooklyn NY
