It wasn't my intention to imply you didn't know RBW is a retail bike shop. I was addressing that folks tend not to realize Riv can build a bike with parts they don't carry in the catalogue because they order them same as any LBS.
I would recommend a starter email to Grant with an outline of what you want to do, then he'll direct you to anyone else you may need to talk to.
