I'm going to our local LL bean tomorrow to look at the bean boots.Mainly to check sizing with my thick wool socks. They are out of the medium and narrow in my size but they have the ones without the Thinsulate to try and also they have the shearling inserts. The ll Bean 8" boot is back ordered until February. I'll check out the storm chaser if they have it. Jon
