I used a large Saddlesack for a credit card tour on the GAP trail and C&O Canal. It handled great, and easily swallowed my tools, first aid kit, food, and other gear. I was touring with my wife and three children, hence carrying a bit of stuff for others. I also run the large saddlesack on my Cheviot for my daily commute. No handling issues when I begin riding. Sure, when I am walking with the bike, the bag causes some tippy moments, but overall the advantages of the bag out weigh that. Good luck on your tour. Where are you traveling? All the best, Erl
