As someone who's currently in the mire of paying tariffs on containers
coming from various countries I can say that some have seemed to reflect
the FOB(free on board) price, and some have seemed to reflect a Landed
price. Meaning sometimes we're charged for only the cost of the goods, and
sometimes we pay 10% on the price of transit. So it'd appear that the
agents are kind of figuring it out as they go, but in both cases it was the
flat 10% that we're set to incur until July when the "retaliatory tariffs"
are done being paused.

Garth, Tariffs are based on whatever the invoice amount is to the end
importer. So in this case, Taylor is the importer and FedEx is his broker.
Since Blue Lug imports the frames directly from Taiwan we're technically
re-importing the frames when we buy them and are subject to the fee being
based on their retail price. For Riv, the tariffs they pay are based on the
container value of the frames/completes ordered from Taiwan and then passed
on to us as customers.

Taylor, I'm sorry that you seem to be the first one here to experience a
hang up! Thanks for letting all of us know what's going on, it's super
helpful!
