Yes, Ben pointed out that I’d read “Roadini” as “Roadeo.’ I guess I’ve got “Roadeo” on my mind.
7.2 lb for f+f+hs: that 2003 Riv Road custom f+f_hs weighed 7 lb (even, I think) which for a 58 c-c gofast road bike is pretty porky, IMO. The replacement (geometrical clone) Matthews using normal gauge .8 .4. 8 tubing immediately felt “faster.” I never did weigh the 1999 Joe Starck, but weight is no matter since it has consistently felt “fast” over 26 years.
