Sorry, that should read, “by 1 cm” — I took a 1 cm spacer from under the stem and put it on top of the stem; so bar is about 1/2” lower that before. Today’s ride amply confirmed improvement in “balance” of rider on bike. Lovely.
The 5 mm spacer still sits under the 1 remaining sub-stem 1 cm spacer, just on top of the top headset cup.
