Every time I've ridden a bike without drop bars for more than a mile.
In other words, are there clear advantages of one over the other? I like drops, but find that I almost never move my hands from the upper part of the bar, making me wonder whether I'd miss them very much if I switched.
With flat (e.g., MTB) bars I find my hands go numb within minutes; this doesn't happen with drop bars. With curved bars (e.g., North Road bars, etc.) I'm just too upright for comfort.
YMMV, of course. Lots of people strongly prefer flat or curved bars and a more upright position.
