Thanks, Eric P -- very nice. I am looking forward to mine: I've long
wanted a bike that can handle the same sandy surfaces that I bought
the Monocog for but has more road-like geometry; in particular, lower
bb and shorter tt. I will probably -- tho' who knows? I've not seen it
yet -- set mine up with Noodles -- these ought to work fine with the
shorter tt and the right stem; too long for me on the SH) at about 1"
above saddle for an aero hooks position, comfortable all day hoods and
rough surface flats. I'm eager to try the Avid MTB calipers and
compare them to the rather weak road BB7s, and I get to use my new,
pretty, nicely shaped but so far unused Cane Creek V brake levers.

I'll probably bite the bullet and just set it up as a 7 or 8 X 3
triple using the drivetrain off the Sam Hill.

Photos when it's ready.
