Done. Speaking of the snow, John Philip sent me an email at 1:30 AM this morning... he had just arrived home in Syracuse after a long and grueling day. When he and Tom Nezovich awoke in Rockwood, there was some 6+ inches of wet, heavy snow on the ground. They slogged through up to a foot of snow (in places) to the Divide, after which things started to improve... (like having gravity in their favor, but also the snow began to thin out). But it was still in the low 30s with sleet, rain and high winds, mostly from the NW (fortunately at their backs)...
Wow...Kudos to John and Tom for toughing it out. MEANWHILE (and sorry I FORGOT to mention), MARC IRWIN CAMPED OUT in Ohiopyle overnight... I'm looking to hear back from him as to how he fared... (but then again, he's from Michigan, and an experienced Boy Scout.. this to him was probably little more than a Spring squall).
