I completely understand using a trailer for errands and local cargo hauling. However, if you're considering it for a tour, I'd invite you to play with the idea of packing lighter. The trailer weights 20 pounds empty. I was set for a 3 week trip, completely self contained and my gear and food weighed 35 pounds. Granted not everyone wants to eat a pound of pemmican a day for 21 days, but there you are. Grin.
