Different bikes work better or worse with the BOB. If your bike is flexible, you may wobble when heavy. But, if your bike is robust, and you carry less than the maximum, it's the best I've ever used. I've also used the original Cannondale bugger, and the Burley delite in a couple of versions. Your position on the bike will affect the stability, too, but the low center of gravity, the hub level hitch, the rolling resistance of the one wheel, and the in-line aerodynamics all make it the best commercial trailer around. I've heard of some customs that were better, but that's another world.
