Lower your stem by 2 cm to simulate the bar height drop that a smaller frame would have. If you can't tell much difference, lower it 2 cm more. When I recently lowered the stem on one of my bikes I was surprised to find that it made it feel smaller. I was expecting the opposite, and had to install a longer stem to make the reach feel the same.
