Regarding Mike and Bills comments: I might be missing something, but I kind of think of the QB/SO as precisely that: A skinny 700c bike. So in theory, the bottom bracket should stay in roughly the same place if you go to a fat 650b, right? Also, if you look at the Riv geometry charts, I think the bottom bracket is shown with quite a bit less drop than their other 700c models anyway. (I'd better go confirm that, now that I've said it)
