Re: [TANKS] Re: Le progressAs I haven't competed as yet, I'm not sure of the
minimum needed. From level, the BT-7 can manage about 7 degrees positive and
about 4 negative. The rules say 10 degrees positive is the maximum allowed.

There have been a couple of home made markers used. I don't know how well they
work or how accurate they are.

Whatever you choose, the distance between the feed tube and the inner surface
of the turret top is critical. In the BT-7 I toyed around with several
alternate magazine ideas before returning to simple gravity. There are two
powered feeders on the market that looked promising, The Cyclone and Warp
feeders. Both are overkill for what is needed. I had also toyed with the idea
of a spring loaded feeder.

Yes it will be hard, even harder as I don't think I can buy a ready made
marker in Oz so have to try to make something so I don't expect any rapid fire
solution, if it can fire at scale speed which at a guess might be every 6
seconds etc might be content but will see.

Btw how much elevation do you guys actually need to compete against each
other, how many degrees of vertical movement would be enough for the barrel?
