Is this what you did to your Leclerc?

Just back from a trip and saw your Leclerc with great interest. It sure
saves lots of space for springs, and it does this sexy motion but....Let me get
this straight. I am not sure my English helps understand "torsion bars" .
In other words, do teh axles of every suspension rotate , sort of twist,
like the hacksaw blades of your first generation suspension systems? They are
rigidly fixed on one end, so they come back when there is not "twist pressure "
on them?

Just a quick thought, if you had a large heavy tank a possible good
source for the rods could be found at a car wreckers. You can find spring
steel rods in the boot of the car. They are often used to hold up the rear
lid( I think you might call it the trunk lid), they usually span across the
width of the back with some bends in them at the ends and there is usually 2 of
them and the general diameter of them would suit a heavier vehicle and I
imagine they would be cheap as well. They are slightly thicker than what I am
using but would suit something heavier.
