On the advice of the excellent Mr. Kanellopoulos, I purchased an
electric ratchet. I had been dubious of its ability to drive a nyloc
locknut due to the low torque that I'd been getting from my cordless
drill. Surprise! It goes like gangbusters, and after getting 2 feet
of track in a week, I have 5 feet of track in an hour! I think that
my drill's batteries are getting old :) The new toy will have the
tracks assemlbed in days, not weeks... better get the rest of the
tank up to snuff so I can mount the wheels and tracks!
Thanks, Chrys :)
