this is just a quick doodle, but this is how i'm thinking of mounting the moving end of the torsion bar
the orange is the tank hull, the olive color is the wooden parts that will hold the bushing for the torsion bar. i ran out to the hardware store (just up the road) but forgot it was Sunday and they were closed. i'll b heading to home depo this week (need another light so i can see what i'm doing on the one side the garage at night - like using the sander) and will look at what bushings they have and then run down the road from there to the metal shop to see how much 1/4 rod is (and if they carry it). and this is a basic drawing of the suspension arm that will attach to the torsion bar and be locked in place by a bolt going through the cut end of the arm, tightening it in place onto the bar. the other hole is where the road wheels will bolt onto Chris, _Odyssey Slipways_ (http://hometown.aol.com/odysseyslipways/index.html) -- You are currently subscribed to the "R/C Tank Combat" group.
