here is another picture of the PVC pipe after taking it out of the vise. i
think the new tool set up did exactly what i wanted it to, and now i have
another new tool to play with :)

i put a scrap piece of plexi-glass in the pipe because of it's brown
wrapper as it makes it easier to see the cut out. the marker lines aren't
straight, but close to what i'll need on the finished muzzle brake.

with any luck, i'll be milling out the good piece tomorrow, cleaning it up
and shooting it with some primer, then i'll shoot a few more pictures and
then attach the PVC parts to the shower curtain and primer the entire barrel.

as my other 2 hard drives are still off i can't post a drawing of the tank
barrel as i'd like as there is another part i am looking to add to all of
this. on the mantle where the barrel comes out, there is another 2 more
levels. as i can't find tubing that small (come to think of it, i never
thought
about copper pipe ..... think i'll have a look the next time i visit home
depot to see about pipe for this next part, but until then...) that i can
make into 2 more levels, i found a coupler for the gray 1.25" (might have
been 1.5", i'll have to check) pvc used for electrical work. it has a slight
bit of space between it and the white plumbing 1" couplers i have used. it
gives some free play for what i am thinking. I am thinking of putting
partial taper on the front end, cut it to the length needed and secure it to
the mantle.

now to wait until tomorrow...........
