I have used the following servos with my Spektrum DX-6 with no programming required beyond the transmitter's settings for travel, etc: -The microservos that come with it from Spektrum -Futaba digital and analog servos of almost all sizes (not including giant size) -Airtronics standard servos -Hextronik servos (Chinese clones of Futabas)
