One of the tracks was repaired a single time, which involved removing some treads over the original splice and re-securing them with glue and rivets. There was no battlefield failure associated with that repair, because it was done as part of preventative maintenance. Other than that, the tracks have required no other maintenance besides cleaning them occasionally. Any veteran will tell you that T001 has been in virtually every kind of nasty terrain including thick brush, sand, snow, rocks, mud, water and tree branches.
