Well, soft sad is definatly something I run into alot, as well as debris kicked up in the tracks such as rocks and twigs and snakes. Perhaps a friction drive is not what I should be looking at. The only time my tracks have derailed is when a golfball sized rock was thrown up in with drive wheel. But thats probably due to my habbit of hill climbing and off roading too much in the absence of battle. Peace here is worse than war!
