A lot of Rock Crawler axles (including the ones on the KOR jeep, are
milled from aluminium billet and are tough as nails. As for other RC
truck parts, I think it will depend on how they are powered. The Nitro
trucks have transmission parts capable of taking the strain, I should
think, and they are engineered to handle heavy shocks at speeds that
no 1/6th scale supply vehicle should ever encounter.

Due to the Jeep's steering difficulties and the fact that I don't
think it needs four wheels drive I am considering using the axles and
making two, two wheel drive Bedford MWD's instead.
