There is a glaring lack of good options for 5V metal roofs in Florida. Sure, there are some butyl tape based attachments that penetrate the metal, but what happens when the truss lands below a V-crimp? The only real option is a deck mount solution or truss blocking (which is excruciating in a Florida attic.
