My 2 cents:
After getting over my many years boycott of Schneider due to the legacy of
Xantrex, I finally tried the new XW several years ago, and haven't really
looked back since.  They certainly have had their hiccups, and there is a
fair amount of complexity to the programming depending on what you are
trying to do, but they are solid both electrically and programmatically
from my experience. I also have so far enjoyed using Sol-Ark from my
limited experience, although I have yet to use it in an off-grid
environment.
