I am considering swapping in new OutBack inverters into one of my neighborhoods 24V off grid systems. It now has two FX2524's. The demands on the system have grown, now a two family home with a 240Vac mini-split for air conditioning and a 240Vac Grundfos SQ 1/2hp sub pump to be added this summer to the system. Drilling a well for a back-up to the gravity fed spring water which has been getting too low during the past few summers.
I'm assuming that I should go with two VFXR3524's. Will this be a direct swap in as far as having the same wiring setup into an OutBack Flexware system? And will it work with an older Mate? Anything else I should know about these OutBack "R" inverters? Dave Palumbo Hyde Park, VT
