Can anyone explain why changing to Support mode on the generator input boosts battery charging amps?
The Radian manual explanation for Support mode gives no clue about this "fix". It only states that Support mode will allow batteries to provide extra power to loads if demand exceeds max. gen programmed input amps. I also have an offgrid Radian seeming to undercharge from a genny, and I just changed its input mode to Support to see what happens.
