Outback VFXs that I have worked on, had an LBCO that topped out at 48 v, definitely a problem.  Magnum inverters LBCO topped at 49 v, more usable, but still too low in my experience.

I don’t agree about either the trace/xantrex SW or the newer Schneider SW or Outback fx not having a LBCO that will work with LFP.

The SW has a LBCO of between 16-32v.

Every LFP battery I’ve  used the LBCO of all of those inverters is well within the parameters of LFP batteries.

I guess there are battereis im not familiar with that have a LBCO outside of those parameters.

I've done a lot of Mate3s swaps over the years, as they are not the most reliable piece of equipment, and I never involved outback in it.   If I recall, you just link the new mates mac ID to the plant in opticsRE, and delete the old one.  Whether you lose all of the old data when doing that I can't remember -- probably so.   Perhaps just name the old one old data, and keep it on the portal rather than deleting it, and use the new one going forwards.

Friends:

I need to swap a Mate3s. This requires help from Outback. They are not
answering texts, emails or phone calls.

Is there any way one can make this swap without Outback?
