Ok, so it will work the way they have discussed on your hosting server. But then why can you not have a mapping in your dev environment? I run the same dev environment, and I have a single mapping to the Reactor core files, and then the usual "data" folder mappings per application. I just put a copy of the reactor core files in my production site root. It really isn't that hard.

It isnt.  Its' running on Win2003

It's the dev environment thats running WinXPPro on my notebook, as I
have said at least half a dozen times.
