MBS plugins can't be used????????? They put out another version of
the plugin that is supposed to work with RB2006r1...I just had to buy
them YESTERDAY...I forgot to mention the filling up of my hard drive
also...because I have to QUIT RB every time I use it to compile my
app to get my memory back. Glad to see more and more people chiming
in. Maybe now RB might get it.

I'm lucky since my biggest project is only 4 MB and haven't seen
any signs of slowness. The only strange symptom in my machine is
that if I have left RB open for couple of days (true Mac user never
shuts down..) the system drive mystically fills up. When I normally
have about 2 GB of free space available after couple of days I
start to get the first warnings of low disk space. I cannot be sure
whether it is some logging feature in RB or something else.
Anyway, the biggest problem with 2006r1 is that the support of
plugins is limited to only rbx types. This means that e.g. MBS
plugins cannot be used. That is a serious limitation.

Well, I for one AM one of those actual companies who used RB to
create and distribute REAL software (no pun intended). Not some
small shareware app or some little tool. If this is what RB2006 is
supposed to be for, then RB should SAY that before they take your
money, then more money every 6 months just to GET to Universals,
which apparently isn't even close yet. How can they move forward
when ANY user who builds large apps have this nightmare? And they
know about it. And they have nothing to say. And just leaving it
like this...what a joke.
