Until recently I also was sticking with RB5.5, since RB 2006 IDE and compile speeds are so slow.

However the reason I moved to RB2006 is that the runtime threading model is so much better, and thus my final app runs much better when compiled in RB2006.

I'm willing to put up with the molassas IDE since my final app is so much better.

And of course I'm looking forward to Universal Binaries which will require moving from 5.5 in any case.
