Yes, going from 5.5 to 2006 was a learning curve, but many aspects of
2006 have really grown on me. I've certainly benefitted from having
multiple projects open, and the tabbed interface has often been a joy
when it comes to going back and forth between different windows,
classes, etc. that need to talk to each other.
As for the "real" REAL guys forsaking this list, I'm not sure that
that is really the case. They may just be concentrating on the forum
more (not to mention, um, working on RB.) But I agree that it has
sometimes been hard to sift through the noise. That was what I meant
by my prior, facetious baseball post (which I borrowed from the late
great David Brinkley, who used that line when one of his panel
discussions was spiraling out of control.)
