As for RS, try the same questions with Canada and Mexico. I bet you
would fail as miserably as we in Europe would.
Most Americans would fail this just as miserably for any state except
their own (and remember, many U.S. states are as big as most European
countries). Yet one can quite easily sell to people in a state where
you can't name ten politicians, cities, or corporations. So I'm not
sure this test tells much.
I do find this feedback from folks in Europe quite interesting, though.
