R2 seems to have problems on windows which i haven't had a chance to
narrow down yet.
I made a new project in R2 today, and saved it. It's a little program
that downloads a file from our ftp server using ftpkit.
Ftpkit has given me no problems at all with 2006r1.
Upon trying to do a test run of my project (after i saved the changes),
r2 crashed (started using 100% processor power for minutes on end).
I tried CTRL-ALT-DEL and End Task. R2 didn't shut down. I tried End
Process. R2 didn't shut down.
I ended up having to reboot the computer.
After booting back up, my project is completely wiped from my hard
drive. The files are gone. Looks like R2 killed them somehow.
Never had that happening before with neither 2005 or 2006r1.
My elbows tell me the debugger is in conflict with the Kerio personal
firewall, and that could cause the 100% processor use somehow.
No idea why it ate my files though. I guess I'll make backups before I
do another test run (after making the project again, should be about 2
hours of work).
I guess I'll rewrite it in R1 if need be.
I wish I had some more accurate information, since I can't even post
feedback with the limited amount of info I have so far.

Hello!
Just a suggestion from me: It is ok if the beta programm is closed,
but why not publish a public beta or final candidate a week before the
release? Then RS could prevent unusable releases like r2.
