You have not done all that you can do! Put a "quit" statement as
the first statement to be executed in the constructor of your
application class. If it still bombs out, then clear you plugin
cache and try it again. If it still bombs out after that, make
sure all you plugins are up to date then rinse, lather, and repeat
the previous steps.

If the application does not bomb out and reaches the quit
statement, then there is a possible problem in you code and you
should keep moving to quit statement ahead in the execution path
until you isolate the offending line.
