The owner of RB is aware of the popularity of MySQL,
especially version 5. I think as soon as the plug-in
is available. Developers for Linux (UNIX) will switch
to RB from C++, Java, Perl, TCL/TK, Python & PHP,
because there isn't one RAP tool for Linux as good as
RB, besides Kylix 3 (Borland's Delphi). Borland is
not doing anything more for Kylix. What a shame for a
great tool.

The SQLite is also great for phototyping and desktop
single user programs for now. I think it's going to
great, once the plug-in for MySQL is out.
