I've come cross this bug (reported by other and marked as fixed, but
not) in which attempts to copy a file to a destination with a long
file name ( > 31 chars) results in a file that does not exist. I've
tried some of the workaround suggested in the archives, including
renaming the file after creation (couldn't) and
s = fOut.name
f.CopyFileTo newF.child(s)
Oddly, if I hardwire the string:
f.CopyFileTo newF.child("this is a not very long file name on Mac OS X")
the file is created (although fOut.exists still = false). But if I
set s = "this is a not very long file name on Mac OS X" and use
f.CopyFileTo newF.child(s)
no file is created.
Any other ideas for a workaround for this obnoxious bug?
Thanks,
Jon
