most of the bugs i've found can with work be worked around.

i bet there are as many apps not getting written in RB because of speed as there are because of bugs.

I respectfully disagree.

Printing crashes on Windows that existed for years.

DragAndDrop file types broken in 2006r2

Threads in windows builds only work when moving the mouse in 2006r3

Everytime I use a new version of RB to fix one bug in the runtime, it seems another new runtime bug creeps in. I don't have a problem finding and fixing bugs in my own code, but I have an ongoing problem finding, tracking and praying for bug fixes in the RB runtime.

Frankly I haven't found ANY recent release of RB that allowed me to build a bug free version of my app. So while RS is responsive and usually fixes those issues in the next 90 day release, they unfortunately also seem to break some other existing feature that I need.

Bug fixes are FAR more important than performance enhancements to me.

Joe Huber
