Joking aside, I did wonder about the idea of something like that ;) Why ???
Well consider this - RS now has an IDE AND a cross-platform set of frameworks ( themselves written in C++ ). The only outfit I know of that sells a Cross-platform GUI framework for C++ is TrollTech. That toolset is very expensive to purchase and license. RS could sell their frameworks to C++ developers, making use of their reference counting stuff too along with the IDE to paint the GUI. I prefer the RB IDE approach to Xcode. They could adopt GCC under the hood for the compiler, similar to Xcode.
