If your in the beta program I'm sure you submitted that bug before the release. Otherwise join the program and help catch them before a release.
If everyone was in the beta program that might be possible. As a Beta tester, I remember RS pleading for more info and examples on bugs from those that are in it. Although I am currently stuck in PPC, I did my part whenever possible. I also realize that there are many people that simply do not have the time or desire to be a part of any beta development team.
In truth, when the actual release comes out, the true testers, i.e. the general user base, come forward when they have problems. To them I say that simply complaining on the lists is not sufficient and the best avenue is to use the Feedback system as it is geared to accept reports, hopefully with reproducible examples, from all Rb users.
If the RS engineers could anticipate every problem that could possibly be encountered then there would never be any bugs in REALbasic. Unfortunately, that simply isn't possible considering they are human beings like the rest of us. Where is Lieutenant Commander Data when we really need the help of a positronic brain? :)
