I know both extremely well, and when I want to make a game, I make it
in RB. Pay no attention to Theo. Consider that two guys made
Armageddon in two weeks -- evenings only -- in REALbasic:

I had a look...
It crashes with a nilobjectexception on the first run.
After that initial mishap... the game does run and it is quite slick.
However it's not doing anything intensive. Very few sprites, moving
around slowly. Try to make sonic the hedgehog in RB and then we'll
talk again ;)
I think one guy could make a game like that in 1 week in Flash,
assuming he was a flash pro ;) I'm assuming your coders are RB pros
so it's a fair comparison.
Best,

P.S. Also, WxWidgets sucks, as does every other cross-platform
framework I have tried, except for REALbasic.
Thats why I said it's OK for games, because in games you'll be making
your own custom UI :)
ALl you really need is a window or fullscreen to do your stuff in...
Typically they handle
Windows pretty well, get along passably on Linux, and are miserable on
the Mac.
I'll agree that Wx doesn't look good.
