No disrespect, and not to butt in, but why is it an either/or?
Companies are supposed to support their products. If they can't,
they should fold.
RS does support RB, certainly as well as other companies have
supported their development products.
You do a good job supporting FTP Suite
Thanks, but there are limitations as to how much I can do and, I'm
just saying the RS has limitations too.
. Real has done a lousy job supporting RB in the most basic way:
documentation.
Very, Very good point. I'd rather they fix that then keep relying on
the lists OR the forums.
To a large extent the lists have compensated for that failure. The
Yeomans and Strouts et al of the list have given them a free ride.
Uh, I don't thinks so. Don't forget Joe Strout worked for RS for
years while he posted on this list, So did many others.
And now they decide to terminate the lists? On the vague promise
that they're looking into making the forums better? What kind of
knucklehead move is that? Sorry, but the notion that the key to
making RB stable is to shut down the NUG just doesn't make sense.
No, that's not what I'm saying at all. Not by a long shot.
