I concur. This is a horrible decision. Forums are fine for
discussion and chat, but the real value of this mailing list is
getting quick answers to QUESTIONS. And you can't do that if people
never see the question, which they'll tend not to do in a forum format.
Whereas with the mailing list digest, you get a quick overview of
what's being discussed and can decide in 2 seconds if you need to
read more, or may be able to contribute.
