Youre missing my point - I wasn't praising or encouraging the removal of the NUG - but encouraging Dana to merge the two - so we get to keep OUR way of working, but all the info gets shared across both mediums, which I think is very sensible. We want to keep our mailing list way of working while letting those who prefer the forum way keep theirs, and either way all be working on the same hymnsheet.
Keeping to your TV/Radio analogy - I could mention the BBC - who run both TV and Radio. Some years back they went through a massive consolidation and bought all their news personnel under the same roof. Now news reports get shared and broadcast across a range of mediums. People who like radio can listen to the same stories there, or on TV or on Internet. Its all centralised. That's what I was getting at. Just to reiterate I don't like forums either !!!.
