Geoff, I think you owe the NUG users a response directly from you as to the reasonings why you gave your approval to this action and give us your response to the issues that have been brought up on the NUG about the closing of the list. It is clear that the people on the NUG are not going to the forums and that your plan to close the NUG is clearly and overwhelming having the opposite effect that was intended. In fact you will probably lose a few paying customers as a few individuals have expressed such sentiments. This decision has clearly tarnished RealSoftware's reputation and clearly offended many users. For all the reasons provided by Dana for closing the NUG, solutions have been proposed to solve them all. It is clear the consensus of this list is this is one of the most "boneheaded" moves you have ever made. I am sorry to have to use such a derogatory term as "boneheaded" but but I think the shoe fits in this case and other individuals have used this term. The real experts in the RB community live on the NUG and cutting off the NUG is like cutting off your legs. How could offending your core experts in the user community possibly benefit RealSoftware?
You are the CEO and the buck stops with you. It time for you to step up and convince us why this is a good thing or tell us that the decision has been reversed. _______________________________________________ Unsubscribe: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> REAL Software has decided to consolidate this mailing list with the online Forums.
