Yeah, I did OK out of Y2K too, a nice little rate rise and a contract
extension to make sure I was around.

The best programming rates that I've seen first hand have been for Ab
Initio, which a little while ago was earning £700+ per day, with £1,000 -
£1,500 for those coming directly from the company. Nice.

Oh, by the way, I'm trained up in Ab Initio and have used it for a coupe
of years if anyone's looking for a contractor! :-)
